The Lincoln Fire Fighters Association, International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Local 644, was chartered on September 13, 1939.  IAFF Local 644 is the labor organization representing approximately 280 firefighters, fire investigators and emergency medical personnel in the cities of Lincoln and South Sioux City, Nebraska.  Local 644’s focus is to protect the lives and well-being of those that protect the lives of others.  Local 644 takes great pride in providing leadership and influence on issues that involve public safety and worker welfare.

Local 644 provides a substantial range of services to our members.  These include representation in contract negotiations, pension issues, and health and safety matters.
