Please attend the upcoming City Election Candidate forum. This candidate forum provides you with an opportunity to get to know the candidates and their positions, as well as the differences in their proposed policies. All candidates have been invited to participate in a forum where they will discuss key issues facing the city of Lincoln. The forum is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided and questions will be taken from the audience. Registration is requested to make sure that there will be enough food and drinks for everyone in attendance. The registration form also includes space for you to submit a question that you would like to have asked during the forum.
Questions may be asked on the topics of: Public Safety, Energy, the Environment, and Sustainable Growth, Fiscal Responsibility, Government Transparency, Infrastructure, Neighborhoods & Housing, and Education.
The forum is hosted by the Nebraska League of Conservation Voters, and partners include the Lincoln Fire Fighter's Association, Neighbor Works Lincoln, Friends of Wilderness Park, and the Hawley Area Neighborhood Association.
